What happens when there is "free movie tickets" in Cheerios?

Lunch, Breakfast, Supper........

Great Song... (click Here to Hear)

Well, I went to check out the new church next to the shelter house. The name is "The Rock". Wow, I was impressed with how "accessible" this church was. And also, how "accessible" the message was for "real people" with "real problems". A music video was shown before the sermon. It is by Johnny Cash. If you do not know who Johnny Cash is then stop reading this.Johnny Cash recorded this song before he died.

At the end of his life Johnny Cash realized that all his fame and fortune was "skubalon" ( rubbish ) compared to knowing God.

It's out of my hands!!

Due to a strike at the college I am home for a little while. Today all three kids are back in school and I have a free day. It's interesting that I am so excited to have this free day so I can clean my house, that's sad. We had a great march break, all of us got to be together and it was great. We spent a night in duluth with kev's parents and the kids loved swimming in the pool at the hotel. After we got back we left daddy at home and headed for my parents camp in ignace for a great weekend of snowmobiling and sledding and a couple of bonfires.
I am enjoying not having to go to school but I am worried that if the strike goes on for too long it could mess up my semester and I really don't want to continue into the summer. Oh well, it is out of my hands.
Here's a couple of pics of our duluth trip. For those who noticed, yes, Noahs hair is really long, I have since cut it, and had fun in the process. I wanted to see what he looked like with a mullet. Hilarious, I will post a pic of that later when I upload it. I also gave him a tail, I was gonna leave it but after a few hours I had to cut it off. Maybe another time.

Lakehead Baptist's Worship Team is Changing...

Our worship team has grown from "Robin" and his "Guitar" to over seven individuals ( we all could not make the photo shoot ) with various instruments ranging from Base guitar to violin.

It has been quite exciting, and a lot of fun work. Now, I am sure the same thing was heard being said at the tower of Babel. I hope we do not have the same end. Although the speaking in different languages sounds pretty interesting.

On a serious note, I was curious if I could draw from some of our Blog fan base to get some new worship songs that you recomend that our church use. Keep in mind that I have a few hoops that a song has to jump through before I recomend it to the team.

1. I prefer the song focuses on who God is and not on who I am. ie... Holy is the Lord vs. I am Standing Here So Humbly, and Where are You God.

2. I prefer congregational songs rather then solo songs.

3. No U2 rip offs and Police rip offs please
